“He Helped Me”: White Man Gives Nigerian Student N1.5 Million After He Received Free Food From Him

Cursory: A Nigerian student, Kayode, studying abroad and faced financial challenges has been gifted $1000 and a GoFundMe campaign to support his expenses. The campaign aims to cover Kayode’s tuition fees and living expenses, rallying.

A Nigerian student studying abroad received assistance from a kind-hearted individual who gave him $1000. This individual, identified as Zachery Dereniowski, encountered the Nigerian student, Kayode, in a library and learned that he was facing severe financial challenges, struggling to pay his rent and tuition fees.

In a heartwarming video, Zachery approached Kayode, pretending to be hungry, to which Kayode generously offered him food.

Touched by Kayode’s kindness, Zachery was determined to repay the gesture in a meaningful way. In a remarkable display of gratitude, Zachery surprised Kayode with a gift of $1000, aiming to alleviate some of the financial burdens weighing on his shoulders.

Inspired by Kayode’s unwavering generosity, Zachery took to social media to share their story and rally support for Kayode’s plight. Through a GoFundMe campaign, Zachery called upon the global community to contribute towards Kayode’s tuition fees and living expenses, emphasizing the transformative power of collective kindness.

He wrote: “Kyode is a 34-year-old international student from Nigeria who simply helped me today at the library because I was a stranger who was hungry. Kyode is on the brink of being evicted from his apartment and cannot afford school tuition. Although he is going through a lot personally, he still found it in his heart to help me.

“Let’s all come together and show Kyode the power of the internet and bless him. 100% of the funds raised will go towards Kyode’s tuition and living expenses. Since Kyode helped me, let’s help him. Be kind and love always.”

Zachery quoted Kayode’s words of encouragement, emphasizing the importance of hard work and faith.

“After I surprised Kyode with $1000 cash, he told me, “If you are hard-working and have the right view, God will send help to you. Favour will find you. Kindness will find you.”

The GoFundMe campaign aims to alleviate Kayode’s financial burden by covering his tuition fees and living expenses, rallying support from online communities to reciprocate the kindness he extended.
