UTME 2024: JAMB Sends Message to Candidates on Printing of Examination Slip

Cursory: JAMB announced that candidates will be informed about printing examination slips in due time.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced on Thursday, March 28, that candidates would be informed about the printing of examination slips at the appropriate time.

The examination board for tertiary-level institutions conveyed this message via a quote tweet on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, stating, “Examination slip printing shall be communicated to the candidates in due course.

In February, JAMB closed the registration for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The registration period began on Monday, January 15, and concluded on Monday, February 26.

As part of the preparation for the main exam, more than 260,000 candidates participated in the 2024 mock UTME across 793 computer-based test (CBT) centres in Nigeria.

The main UTME is scheduled to start on Friday, April 19, 2024. Printing the JAMB examination slip is important because, it contains crucial details such as the UTME exam date, venue, time, and other essential information. Without this slip, candidates may encounter difficulties gaining entry into the examination hall.

Every year, JAMB conducts the UTME in Nigeria, and a student’s score determines their admission to higher education institutions, including universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, among others.
