On Wednesday, October 2, the Senate passed a Bill for the first and second readings to establish a Federal University of Agriculture and Tropical Studies in Iragbiji, Osun State.
The Bill, titled “A Bill for an Act to establish the Federal University of Agriculture and Tropical Studies, Iragbiji, Osun State, and to make comprehensive provisions for its management and administration, 2024,” was sponsored by Senate Leader Senator Opeyemi Bamidele (APC – Ekiti Central) and seconded by Senator Olarere Oyewunmi.
