Nigerian Law School Admission Form 2026/2027 is Out [Bar Part I]

Nigerian Law School, Abuja Admission Form 2026/2027 is now on sale. The closing date is Tuesday, 30 June, 2026.

​All intending applicants for admission into the 2026 Bar Part I Course are by this notice informed that the application process will open on Monday, 25 May, 2026 and close on Tuesday, 30 June, 2026.

The Programme will commence on Monday, 27 July, 2026 at the Headquarters in Bwari, Abuja.

The session will commence simultaneously at the Headquarters Bwari, FCT and the Campuses in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Yenagoa, Yola and Portharcourt on a yet to be determined date in 2026.

Nigerian Law School Admission Requirements: 

The programme is open to law graduates of Nigerian Universities and foreign-trained law graduates, who have successfully completed and passed the Bar Part I Course at the Nigerian Law School. Application is not open to those awaiting their results.

How to Apply for Nigerian Law School Abuja Admission Form 

​Prospective applicants are to visit the Nigerian Law School website www.nigerianlawschool.edu.ng. Complete the application form and forward to [email protected]. On or before Tuesday, 30 June, 2026.

​Applicant’s academic transcript and completed Forms B, B1 and B2 must be forwarded from the official email address of their University and Employer (if applicable) to [email protected] on or before Friday, 17 July, 2026.

​The subject of all emails should be the applicant’s name and application number.

​All application documents must be received within the stipulated time, as the School will not entertain late submission of documents.

​Applicants are to note their Application Numbers for access to their admission status subsequently, please.

Closing Date: Downloaded Application forms together with references on applicants must be completed and returned to the Nigerian Law School via the Faculties of Law on or before Tuesday, 30 June, 2026

NOTES:

  • Only candidates whose data were forwarded to the Nigerian Law School by Deans of their respective Faculties are eligible to apply. Each candidate must therefore confirm from his/her Faculty before proceeding to pay the application fee. Please note that application fees are non-refundable. Under no circumstance should individual candidates approach the Nigerian Law School directly or through parents/guardians for admission.
  • Approved re-admission candidates and cleared Referred cases are to check for their names under re-admission on the Portal and then apply. Such candidates are to attach a copy of their approval or clearance letters to their application forms, and despatch same to the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, Nigerian Law School Headquarters, Bwari, Abuja.
  • Applicants are to note their Application Numbers as this will be required to check their admission status subsequently.
