NWU / YUMSUK Matriculation Ceremony Date 2024 Announced [UPDATED]

NWU Matriculation Ceremony Date: The Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano (YUMSUK) Proposed Matriculation Ceremony Date for 2023/2024 Session has been Announced. 

AllSchool team is happy to inform the general public and more especially newly admitted students of Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano (YUMSUK) formerly called North West University (NWU)  that the NWU Proposed matriculation date for 2023/2024 session has been announced.

This is to kindly inform you that the University Management has approved the 2023/2024 Matriculation exercise to be conducted as follows:

• Date: Thursday, 25th April 2024.
• Venue: Muhammadu Sunusi II Lecture Theater, Main Campus.
• Time: 10:00 Am.

Accordingly, all stakeholders are to assemble at the Lecture hall near the entrance of the Directorate of Security where the procession will start, and proceed to the venue for the ceremony.

While forwarding this information for your further action, please consider the letter as a formal invitation for exercise.

Matriculation ceremony in Nigerian universities means “officially welcoming newly admitted students into the university/tertiary institutions. In YUMSUK matriculation ceremony students will be briefed on the course they have been admitted and most times encourage them to be of good behaviour.

Matriculation marks the end of admission process in that school. This means that no new student will be admitted into that school after the matriculation.

So if you’re going to do this matriculation…then you deserve a big congratulations! You are welcome into the University life. Please don’t be carried away by the joy. Most times surviving in a university is more difficult than getting admission into that school. Take your studies serious and build your CGPA. Don’t record any Fail in your year one.
