FUTMINNA Academic Calendar: The Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA) Approved Academic Calendar for 2024/2025 Session is Out. 

The management of the Federal University of Technology Minna, wishes to inform all students and staff of the institution that the Senate has released the approved academic calendar for 2024/2025 academic session.

Below is the approved academic calendar of the 2024/2025 Academic session.

FIRST SEMESTER 

• Monday, 28th October, 2024 – Sunday, 17th November, 2024: Payment of school fees for new students
• Monday, 28th October, 2024 – Sunday, 17th November, 2024: Online registration for new and returning students
• Monday, 18th November, 2024 – Saturday, 25th January, 2025: Lectures for 100L-500L students
• Thursday, 19th December, 2024: Orientation for new students
• Thursday, 23rd January, 2025: Matriculation Ceremony for new students
• Saturday, 1st February, 2025: Founders Day
• Monday, 27th January, 2025 – Saturday, 15th February, 2025: e-Test for 100 Level students and large classes
• Monday, 3rd March, 2025 – Saturday, 22nd March, 2025: e-Exams for 100 Level students and large classes 
• Monday, 10th March, 2025 – Saturday, 22nd March, 2025: First Semester Exams for 200L-500L students
• Monday, 24th March, 2025 – Saturday, 5th April, 2025: First Semester Break 
• Monday, 5th May, 2025: School Board to consider First Semester Results
• Wednesday, 28th May, 2025: Senate to consider First Semester Results 

SECOND SEMESTER 

• Monday, 7th April, 2025 – Saturday, 31st May, 2025: Lectures commences for all students
• Monday, 2nd June, 2025 – Saturday, 21st June, 2025: e-Test for 100 Level students and large classes
• Monday, 23rd June, 2025 – Saturday, 5th July, 2025: Lectures continues for all Levels
• Monday, 7ty July, 2025 – Saturday, 26th July, 2025: e-Exams for 100 Level students and large classes
• Monday, 14th July, 2025 – Saturday, 26th July, 2025: Second Semester Exams for 200L-500L students
• Monday, 28th July, 2025 – Saturday, 27th September, 2025: Second Semester Break
• Monday, 28th July, 2025 – Saturday, 6th September, 2025: SWEP/Field Trip
• Monday, 8th September, 2025: School Boards to consider Second Semester Results
• Wednesday, 24th September, 2025: Special Senate to consider Second Semester Results.
• 2025/2026 Academic Session commences Monday, 29th September, 2025.
