“Found my grandmother’s social studies note from 1974. A lot of gems in it, including some scant history of Lagos here. Some bit about the formation of FCT and military governors of 19 states.”
The post quickly went viral, as social media users flooded the comment section with reactions, many finding the content both fascinating and historically significant.
Here are a few of the comments:

• @vickAlmondo: “So, I’m curious about those who claimed someone else built Lagos years later. This highlights the efforts of earlier administrations, indigenous people, and the British.”

The discovery has not only ignited nostalgia but also renewed interest in Nigeria’s history, with many suggesting the notebook be preserved as an important archive of the past.
