FUHSO Senate Approves Free Tuition For Mathematics Students
The Senate of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO), at its meeting held on 30th September, 2025, approved free tuition for all students applying to study Mathematics for the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions.
This strategic decision is aimed at encouraging more students to pursue Mathematics, a foundational discipline for science, technology, and innovation, and to strengthen FUHSO’s commitment to building capacity in critical areas of national development.
The Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the Senate, called on qualified candidates to take advantage of this opportunity and apply to study B.Sc. Mathematics at FUHSO. He noted that the initiative reflects the University’s vision of promoting access, excellence, and affordability in higher education.
