Raji emphasized the importance of using their acquired knowledge to fuel economic and social development. Provost Akorede Ojomu praised the graduates’ resilience, noting their potential to positively shape society.
Keynote speaker Dr. Olusegun Dada highlighted that over 32.9 million nano businesses form 85.55% of Nigeria’s informal sector, yet few succeed due to poor funding, skills, and governance. He proposed cooperative-driven solutions—like revolving funds, transparent systems, and democratic structures—to empower small enterprises sustainably.
The event celebrated academic achievement and called for graduates to lead with integrity, innovation, and impact across Nigeria’s economic landscape.
