allscho Olamide Aderibigbe, a 16-year-old student of Starville International School, Abuja, has emerged as one of Nigeria’s top scorers in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), earning a total score of 336 out of 400, including a remarkable 98 in Mathematics.
His other subject scores include 86 in Physics, 84 in Economics, and 68 in English, placing him among the top 0.25% of the over 1.9 million candidates who sat for the exam. According to JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, only 12,414 students scored above 300, and fewer than 5,000 exceeded 320, further highlighting Olamide’s exceptional performance.
Olamide’s father, Mr. Niran Aderibigbe, expressed gratitude and pride in his son’s achievement, describing him as a naturally gifted student with a strong interest in creative design and mathematics. Olamide hopes to pursue a degree in Architecture, with Covenant University and the University of Ibadan among his top choices.
