Precious Cornerstone University Secures NUC Approval for Postgraduate Studies.

Precious Cornerstone University (PCU), Ibadan, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to commence full-time postgraduate studies in four programmes. The approval follows a resource assessment visit by two NUC teams to the university in May, 2025.

The newly approved postgraduate programmes are:

• Microbiology: M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D.
• Accounting: M.Sc. and Ph.D.
• Business Administration: M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)

In a statement, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Timothy Olubisi Adejumo, expressed gratitude for the successful resource verification process. He thanked the Dean of the Postgraduate School, Professor J.A. Adegoke, and all members of the Postgraduate Verification Committee for their efforts. Prof. Adejumo also acknowledged the support of the University’s Management team and Council members, calling the achievement an ‘elevation’ for the institution.
