UNILAG Graduate Bags First-Class in Business Administration

UNILAG Graduate Bags First-Class in Business Administration — Opeyemi Fasedemi overcame multiple admission setbacks and academic challenges to graduate from the University of Lagos with a first-class degree in Business Administration, achieving an impressive 4.74 CGPA.

Opeyemi Fasedemi, a Nigerian lady, has graduated with a first-class degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) with a 4.74 CGPA. She was admitted to UNILAG in 2019, after being denied admission twice by Lagos State University (LASU), despite scoring 274 in her UTME.

Opeyemi’s journey to achieving her goal was not easy. She faced academic setbacks, including a dip in her grades in her second year, but she persevered and worked hard to achieve her dream. “From day one, I set a clear goal: I wanted to graduate with a First Class,” she shared on LinkedIn.

Her determination paid off, and she graduated with a 4.74 CGPA. Opeyemi’s achievement has been celebrated on social media, with friends and well-wishers praising her resilience and hard work.

UNILAG has a history of producing outstanding graduates, with 617 students graduating with first-class honors at its 56th convocation ceremony. The university has also retained its top position in Nigeria, ranking 801-1,000 globally.

Opeyemi’s story is an inspiration to students facing challenges in their academic journey.
