FUD to Start Medical Lab, Radiology Physiotherapy, Others

Federal University Dutse has set to begin new academic programmes.

The Senate of the Federal University Dutse has approved five new degree programmes in the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. They are as follows:

1. Bachelor of Community Health Science
2. Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences
3. Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetic
4. Doctor of Physiotherapy
5. Bachelor of Radiography

The Vice-Chancellor Professor Ahmad Muhammad Gumel commended the Faculty for coming up with these new programmes that will compliment our MBBS programme as well as provide opportunity to interested candidates to apply for these courses.

He said he is confident that the Faculty can mount these programmes successfully in view of the improvement in their manpower with the recent 13 PhD holders who returned to the Faculty after completing their studies.

The VC said our communities are in need of services of professionals in these fields adding that management will do aim it can to ensure its success.
