Main Reasons Why lecturers fail student

In today’s higher institutions most lecturer fail student for so many reasons,to some it is due to their selfish motives (sexual harrasment)and others due to the student attitude or behavior towards learning.Some of this reasons are:

1. Lack of ability to study properly: Unfortunately most of the students don’t know how to study properly. They think studying entails just reading and copying teachers’ notes not knowing you need to understand and learn the concept as a result the wrong study strategies lead you towards academic failure.

2. Over-Confidence: Some students who pass exams often assume that they know everything thus they study less or not at all assuming that they know everything, these over-confidence experience result in student fail exams as student encounter topics which they have less knowledge or no knowledge at all making them to fail exams.

3. Lack of concentrations:One step at a time is needed always remember the main reason you were sent to school for,some students put less concentrations on their study due to the fact that they are too much engaged in other activities such as being involved in campus politics,sport activities e.t.c. And these make them have less time in academic matters causing the student to fail exams

4. Reading only for examination: Most student feel the major reason why they should read is bacause of examination,but this is wrong because there is no end to education and so it is not all about reading to pass an examination.

Your purpose of reading should be to acquire knowledge and with this in mind you will understand what you read better.

5.Friends: Show me your friends and I would tell u who you are. Friends also matter to the success in your exams, some students are influence by peer pressure such that they do most of the things which their friend does at the expenses of concentrating in their exams making them to fail exams.

6. Lack of preparation: learn to manage your time we’ll by preparing yourself before your exams.Dont wait till the 11th hour.

7. Laziness:This is the reason as to why students fail exams. A lazy students finds it difficult to finds it difficult to read, attend classes, do assignments and also put less interest in doing research

Student needs to put in more effort when it comes to learning and as for the female student they need to try as much as possible to avoid unnecessary attachment to lecturers of the opposite sex. As they can become the main reason behind their failure.
