BOSU Post UTME Form 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

The Borno State University Maiduguri (BOSU) Post-UTME/ D.E form 2025/2026 session is now on sale. The cut-off mark is 150 – 250 depending on the course. The form cost N2,000. The closing date is 31st August 2025.

This is to inform the general public, especially candidates who chose the University as FIRST CHOICE at the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)/Direct Entry (DE) that the 2024/2025 Post-UTME/DE screening begins on Monday 11th August, 2025 to Sunday 31st August, 2025. Candidates are to register by visiting the University POST-UTME/DE portal, https://bosu.admissions.cloud for the registration.

Candidates interested in the school can now apply. Before you apply, below is a brief history of About Borno State University.

Borno State University (BOSU) Maiduguri is Borno’s first state University established in 1976. It is accredited by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the National Universities Commission (NUC). BOSU is headed by Professor Umar Kyari Sandade – the Vice-Chancellor of the University.

Candidates Eligible to Apply for Borno State University Post UTME.

  • Candidate must have chosen Borno State University as their first choice and have scored the minimum required cut-off marks for the programmes they applied.
  • However, candidates who did not choose BOSU as their first choice can also register for the online post UTME screening after Change of institution/course to BOSU from JAMB platform at Accredited CBT Centers. Recommended: Apply for a change of institution on the JAMB portal.
  • Obtained a minimum of five (5) relevant credits at ‘O’ level (including English and Mathematics);
  • Direct Entry (DE) candidates shall, in addition to the minimum of five (5) ‘O’ level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics), have scored a minimum of 9 points or Merit in NCE and at least lower credit in ND/HND or Second Class Lower in a Degree
  • Candidates who have not met the required cut-off marks of the programmes they have chosen as their first choices but have appropriate score are required to change to other relevant programmes at jamb portal.
  • Candidates must ensure that their O’level results are uploaded to Jamb website as soon as possible, as those who do not, will not be considered for admission.
  • Candidates awaiting their ‘O’ Level results must indicate Awaiting Result (AR) in the grades column on the screening form and upload such results when their SSCE is released.

How to Apply for Borno State Post UTME.

  • Eligible Candidate are to input Jamb Registration Number as username and password to confirm pre-loaded Jamb Details at https://bosu.admissions.cloud
  • Generate Remita code for payment with your master, visa card or print out the payment slip and proceed to any bank branch and pay the sum of two thousand naira (N2.000) for the exercise.
  • Proceed back online and Login with your Jamb registration
  • Complete the form online as requested.

Deadline to Apply: The Application ends on Sunday, 31st August 2025.

NOTE: Both Direct Entry and UTME candidates are STRONGLY advised to upload their ‘O’ LEVEL RESULTS unto the JAMB website (CAPS) at the nearest JAMB Office or JAMB accredited CBT Centre without which such a candidate will not be admitted.
