University of Jos (UNIJOS) Fraud Alert Notice

The attention of Management of the University of Jos has been bought to the existence of a fake payment link under a payment platform called “Paystack’ being used purportedly to conduct transactions on behalf of the University especially regarding payment of School Charges by Students.

From its investigations, the University discovered that the fake link was created by fraudsters under the name Success Academy (BESTEXAMPORTAL) for the purpose of defrauding unsuspecting Students legitimately trying to pay their prescribed School Charges.

The management wishes to state categorically that the University of Jos has not mandated any website or vendor to collect School Charges on its behalf and anyone doing so is doing it illegally.

The approved process of payment of School Charges online as approved by the Federal Government is through the ‘Remita’ payment platform which can be accessed through the University of Jos website www.unijos.edu.ng.
