Fresher Who Spent 6yrs At Home Before Gaining Admission, Inspires Many With her Touching Story

Osinachi Favour Udochukwu, a newly admitted student of Abia State University, has shared her life story of how she lost her mother years ago and it almost made her take her own life.

Below is her short story:

I’m supposed to be in my finals or a graduate by now, this is 6yrs I graduated from secondary school.

What happened???

Firstly, I’m dedicating this post to all aspirants,to those that have given up on admission, those that are already weak and tired.

Sis, bro, delay aint denial ?…

My delay in admission ain’t Jamb, it’s a mystery.

I lost my mum in my SS2, it affected everything about me, my mental health and co, To crown it all she left a baby of 8months in my care.

When I graduated from secondary school, the only calls I kept receiving was “Hey babe, I’ve gained admission”

I hated my life, I hated myself, I tried commiting sucide so many times but my little sis eyes kept hindering me.

I used to be the best student in my school, but situations really affected me that if I sit to read, it will be as if I’ll run mad.

I stayed at home for complete four years before I took my first jamb, I felt life wasn’t complete without me being in school.

Story cut short, today am an official student of Abia State University (ABSU).

I felt depressed, frustrated and hated this world but then, God’s time is the best.

Do your best and leave the rest for God, He knoweth the best.

Happy matriculation to me and all ABSU FRESHER’S
