2024 UTME: Still Having Issues Getting Your Profile Code? Do This

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has shown the different methods candidates can use to get their profile code.

JAMB 2024 Registration ends in a couple of weeks and most JAMB Candidates are still facing issues getting their profile code.

JAMB being aware of this has released a video showing the different ways candidates who have issues, can use to get their profile code.

According to the presenter in the video, Candidates with issues should first make sure that they are sending the message in the right format.

The right format is, in your message, type NIN, give one space, and type your correct 11-digit NIN numbers, then send it to 55019 or 66019.

Candidates should then ensure that the phone number they are using to send the message isn’t in Awwoof or Postpaid package plan.

According to the presenter, if you’re on such a package plan, they won’t work except specially loaded with airtime.

Candidates should also ensure that they have at least 100 airtime on their phone numbers.

Also, candidates should be sure that the number they are using hasn’t been used to register another candidate in the past.

If after all the above and you still have issues, according to the JAMB presenter, try using another sim card.

If after doing the above and you still didn’t get your NIN, create a support ticket on the JAMB Support portal and make sure the subject is NIN issues.

Don’t write a letter, make your complaint brief and straight to the point.

Complaints from people who aren’t JAMB candidates are barely responded to. So make sure you select that you’re a JAMB candidate when filling out the form on the JAMB support portal.
