Ambrose Alli University, AAU Secures NUC’s Approval to run 13 New Degree Programmes


The National Universities Commission is pleased to inform all Nigerian Universities that the Commission has approved thirteen additional programmes to the Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS).
Experts in the relevant areas drawn from the Nigerian University System participated in the development of the 75% components of these programmes in March 2025. The approval of these CCMAS programmes reflects the Commission’s ongoing commitment to strengthening quality assurance mechanisms, enhancing and aligning university education in Nigeria with emerging global trends.
The approved programmes are as follows:
- B.Sc Artificial Intelligence
- B.Ed. Classical Christian Education
- B.Ed. Human Kinetics (Sport Management)
- B.Eng. Geomatics Engineering
- B.CHS Community Health Science
- B.Sc. Intelligence and Security Studies
- B.Sc Islamic Economics and Finance
- B.Sc. Parasitology and Entomology
- B.Sc Telecommunication Science
- B.Sc Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
- B.Sc. Cooperative Economic and Management
- B.Sc Nuclear Science
- B.Eng. Nuclear Engineering
