Abia State polytechnic, notice on unbundling of admissions and screening processed

In line with global best practices as it concerns the admission and screening of fresh students, the Rector has directed that the Admissions Department be unbundled.
To that effect, screening of all fresh students will be done at their various Schools under the supervision of the School Officers effective from second semester 2023/2024 session.
Deans of Schools are by this memo requested to provide office spaces that will accommodate School Officers and their support Staff.
The Admissions Department is therefore directed to submit all files relating to Students’ screening to the various Schools where they belong.
The above directives should be complied with without delay.
