The joint convocation recognized 15,428 graduands from both undergraduate and postgraduate levels for the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic sessions. “Our administration, while not shying away from its primary responsibilities, welcomes partnerships from public-spirited individuals and corporate organisations that have genuine concern for the development of education in the state.”

The governor pledged to allocate resources judiciously to ensure the well-being of education sector personnel through effective policy development and program implementation.

Prof. Toyin Ashiru, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, attributed the university’s developmental strides to the Governor’s unwavering support and goodwill from alumni and corporate entities.
