ABU Accommodation Notice to Students for 2025/2026 Academic Session.


This is to inform undergraduate students and other stakeholders that the undergraduate accommodation portal for the 2025/2026 Academic Session will be opened on the following dates:
- New Students: Monday, 22nd December, 2025
- Returning Students: Monday, 5th January, 2026
Newly admitted students and returning students that are eligible are invited to visit the registration portal at https://portal.abu.edu.ng to make reservation.
Students are reminded as follows:
- The accommodation portal is accessible only after payment of registration fees and completing course registration.
- After payment of accommodation fees, students must undergo documentation with the Hall Administrators before gaining access to the reserved and paid bedspace. Clearance and access to rooms is on first-come-first-served basis.
- Buying, selling, exchange of bedspaces, and any form of accommodation racketeering is prohibited. Sanctions are spelt out on the Hall Residency Form.
- Students must use energy and other university properties responsibly. Offenders will be surcharged for misuse and damage to university property.
- Requests for bedspace allocation to 300 Level students will be entertained few weeks after opening the accommodation portal, provided free bedspaces exist.
- Clearance with the Hall Administrators by all students is mandatory at the end of the tenancy period (i.e., end of the academic session).
