Online applications are invited from all qualified candidates for supplementary admissions into the Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot Akpaden for the 2025/2026 academic session. Only UTME candidates who made AKSU their First (1st) Choice Institution and scored 150 and above, are eligible to apply for the supplementary admissions.

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English. Language. Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
Candidates Eligible to Apply.
- Only Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who made the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) their First Choice Institution are eligible for screening.
- In addition, each candidate must possess credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Direct Entry candidates must be holders of A’ Level/ND/NCE/HND/First Degree in relevant discipline and subjects.
UPLOADING OF O’LEVEL RESULTS
- All Candidates are advised to upload their O’level results online at JAMB Portal in a COMPUTER-BASED TEST (CBT) CENTRE
- All uploaded documents must be clear and legible. Blurred or unclear documents will lead to automatic disqualification.
- Any candidate who fails to upload his/her results and other relevant academic qualification (original) will NOT be considered for admission by the University.
REQUIREMENTS FOR AKSU SCREENING EXERCISE:
- 2025 UTME Original Result slip showing candidate’s photograph in colour.
- Birth Certificate
- Certificate of Origin.
- Certificate of Medical Fitness from approved Government Hospital.
- AKSU PUTME/DE Registration Confirmation Slip (2023)
WARNING: Any candidate who fails to upload his/her results will NOT be considered for admission by the University.

- Changing to any of these Programmes as indicated above does not guarantee automatic admission. Only candidates who meet the minimum cut-off mark for the respective programmes, would be considered.
- Kindly note that the University does not have individuals/sales agents. Anyone who deals with any individual and/or makes payment(s) to an individual’s account does so at his/her own risk.
How to Apply for AKSU Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise.
Candidates are required to register online for the screening exercise following the procedure below:
- Visit: portal.aksu.edu.ng
- Click ‘Start Now’
- Click ‘Enroll’.
- Click on SUPPLEMENTARY
- Enter your Jamb Registration Number and click Next.
- Click the arrow below to Verify and Continue
- Proceed to make payment of NGN 2000.00 registration fee (excluding bank charges). Note: Payment can be made via Debit card or Bank Deposit Nationwide. If payment is made at the bank, repeat steps 1-3 then continue with registration.
- Upload the scanned copies of your documents (2023 UTME Result Slip, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Origin, Certificate of Medical Fitness) in .jpg format with a minimum size of 120KB and maximum size of 150 KB.
- Preview the details entered to ensure it is correct.
- After confirmation, click the ‘Finish’ button to generate the registration confirmation slip.
NOTE
Changing to any of these Programmes as indicated above does not guarantee automatic admission. Only candidates who meet the minimum cut-off mark for the respective programmes, would be considered.
There would be a grace period of four (4) weeks within which all approved admissions must be accepted by the candidates. Failure to accept the admission, such admission will be deleted, and the candidate placed under the “refusal to accept category”, punishable by ineligibility to be admitted again.
Candidates must ensure that their O’level (WAEC/NECO) results are uploaded appropriately at the JAMB portal (CAPS) in a COMPUTER-BASED TEST (CBT) CENTRE approved by JAMB.
Kindly note that the University does not have individuals/sales agents for admission. Anyone who deals with any individual and/or makes payment(s) to an individual’s account does so at his/her own risk.
REGISTRATION PERIOD
The University portal for the online registration is now open. Candidates who fail to register within the registration period will not be considered for the Supplementary Admissions.
