‘Immoral Display’ by College Students Triggers Disciplinary Action

Cursory: Two students from Kwara State College of Education, Ilọrin, are under investigation for alleged inappropriate behavior during their sign out ceremony. The college has assigned its Students’ Disciplinary Committee (SDC) to address the matter.

Two students from Kwara State College of Education, Ilọrin, are facing disciplinary action for their alleged inappropriate behavior during their graduation ceremony.

The students, identified AbdulSalam was seen grabbing Tawakaltu’s breasts during the sign-out ceremony for final-year students of the college last week.

The college, in response to this incident, has assigned its Students’ Disciplinary Committee (SDC) to address the matter and set an example for others.

Hajia Habitat Zubair, the college’s Public Relations Officer, confirmed the ongoing investigation but stated that no official statement has been issued yet. “the display of immoral practice by two students of the institution.”

The college mandated the “Students’ Disciplinary Committee (SDC) to bring the two students to book to serve as a deterrent to others.”

Public Relations Officer of the college, Hajia Habitat Zubair, who confirmed the development to Daily Trust on Sunday, September 10, 2023, said;

“The school has commenced investigation into the matter but has not made any formal pronouncement on it.”
