ASUU Gifts Scholarship to Seven LAUTECH Students

Not fewer than seven students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, have received scholarships ranging between One hundred and Two hundred Thousand Naira from the Academic Staff Union of Universities.

The duo of Lawal Idowu Titilope, 300 Level student of Medicine and Surgery at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, with CGPA of 4.83 and Omoniyi Aanuoluwapo Oluwaseun, 200 Level student of Biochemistry in the same University, with CGPA of 4.75, have been awarded scholarship of Two Hundred Thousand (N200, 000) each by the National Secretariat of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

Making the presentation on behalf of ASUU National, Immediate Past Financial Secretary, Professor Ade Adejumo, said the award covers tuition.

Another set of five students including Abdul Azeez Alli Akintomiwa, 300 Level student of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics with a CGPA of 4.64, Oshinubi Oluwaseyi Olatunji, 300 Level student of Chemical Engineering with CGPA of 4.66, also received One hundred Thousand Naira each from LAUTECH branch of ASUU.

Others who got Hundred Thousand Naira each from LAUTECH Branch included Bello Robiu Babatunde, 400 Level student of Agricultural Engineering with CGPA of 3.85.
Akingboye Israel Timilehin; (300 Level) student of Cyber Security Science with CGPA of 4.58, and Olayiwola Dorcas Iyanuoluwa, 200 Level student of the Department of Anatomy with CGPA of 4.84.

Professors Agbaje Lateef, Musbau Azeez, Akeem Lawal and Adebola Akintola took turns to present to beneficiaries of the LAUTECH Branch awards.
