Cursory: A Popular Nigerian singer gained attention for her philanthropy when she financially assisted a University with her school fees, preventing her from dropping out of school due to lack of money.

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Teni Apata, known as Teni, has gained attention for her philanthropy after providing financial aid to a Babcock University student in 2022, enabling her to graduate.

A Twitter user, Eno, expressed her gratitude to Teni for helping her friend by paying N1.5 million towards her school fees.

Teni had earlier expressed her intention to assist two students from private universities who were facing financial difficulties in their final year.

Upon seeing Eno’s request for help on behalf of her friend, Teni generously offered to pay N1.5 million directly to the school’s account to cover the tuition.

A year later, Eno expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the singer on social media, as her friend successfully graduated, writing, “She’s graduating today. Thank you once again Teni.”
