Bayero University Kano Notice Of Misidentification .

The Management of Bayero University, Kano, wishes to bring to the attention of the general public a misleading publication circulating on social media.
A post on the “BUK Aspirant 2024/2025” Facebook page, dated January 4, 2025, incorrectly identifies the Registrar of Bayero University, Haruna Aliyu, as Dr. Aliyu Haruna Muhammad, a newly promoted Professor in the Department of Islamic Studies.
For clarification, the individual in the published picture is indeed Haruna Aliyu, the current Registrar of Bayero University, and not Dr. Aliyu Haruna Muhammad.
The University Management urges the public to disregard the incorrect publication and take note of this correction.
