Borno State Schools Academic Calendar 2022/2023 [UPDATED]

Borno State Schools Academic Calendar for the 2022/2023 Academic Session has been Announced.

This is to inform parents, Guardians, and the general public that the Ministry of Education Borno has released the Approved Academic Calendar for Primary and secondary schools in the State for 2022/2023 session.

LATEST UPDATE: ADJUSTMENTS TO THE 2022/2023 SCHOOL ACADEMIC CALENDAR

Borno State Schools Academic Calendar

In view of the recent postponement of the Governorship and State Assembly Elections from 11th of March to the 18th of March, 2023 by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), I am directed to notify you of the following adjustments:-

• Schooling will continue as from tomorrow > Friday, 10th of March to Thursday, 16th of March, 2023.
• Schools will close for the Governorship and State Assembly Elections as from Friday, 17th to Monday, 20th March, 2023.
• Schools will re-open on Tuesday, 21 March to Wednesday, 5th April, 2023.
• Note that these adjustments will not in any way interfere with External Examinations whose Time Tables are fixed by the relevant Examination bodies.
• All Schools are to strictly comply with these adjustments.
