Cursory: A lady has been awarded GH¢12,000 (~N520,000) for emerging as the 2023 Overall Best Female Graduating Student at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT).
Brilliant Ghanaian lady, Alberta Agyapomaah Tawiah, received over N500,000 Nigerian Nairas for emerging as the 2023 Overall Best Female Graduating Student at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT).
She graduated with a Cumulative Weighted Average (CWA) of 87.41% in BSc Mining Engineering, automatically claiming the best-graduating student for her set.
The university took to Twitter to shower encomiums on the great achiever.
‘Meet Miss Alberta Agyapomaah Tawiah, the Overall Best Female Graduating Student …. she has always been passionate about. Congratulations, Alberta Ayekooooo,” the post read in part.
Tawiah receives cash reward Tawiah was photographed when she received the cheque for GH¢12,000 for emerging as the best female student.
She posed in a fitting dress that grabbed her body in stunning images online. Her achievement was applauded by netizens.
