Odunayo Akinlade, a brilliant Nigerian lady, has graduated with first-class honors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and shared her achievement on LinkedIn.
In addition to her degree, Odunayo was inducted as a distinguished Graduate Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). Reflecting on her journey, she described it as a period of personal growth and transformation, driven by her determination to succeed.
She recounted how she evolved from a young girl with limited awareness of STEM opportunities into a trailblazing woman who defied the odds. Odunayo emphasized that her accomplishment is a testament to perseverance and embracing challenges as opportunities for growth.

Throughout her academic journey, she received several prestigious scholarships and awards, including the BOVAS AND COMPANY LIMITED undergraduate scholarship, the Federal Scholarship Board (FSB) award, and the Chevron Scholarship award.
Odunayo also represented her institution, faculty, and department in various competitions, winning hackathons and athletics events. She expressed gratitude to her project supervisor, friends, colleagues, mentors, and everyone who supported her along the way, acknowledging their role in her success.
