The Deanery of Student Affairs, Bayero University, Kano (BUK), has issued a strong warning to all student associations against organizing or participating in unapproved activities and events within the university campuses.

In an official circular dated February 18, 2026 (Ref: BUK/SA), the Deanery expressed concern over the increasing number of activities being organized without following due process or obtaining prior approval from the Office of the Dean.

According to the statement, all students and duly registered associations are hereby directed to desist from organizing or participating in any event or activity without the Dean’s prior approval.

The Deanery emphasized that any student or association found to be involved in such unapproved activities will face appropriate disciplinary action in line with the University’s rules and regulations.
