BUK Post Utme Form 2025/2026 [UPDATED]

Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Post UTME Form for 2025/2026 academic session still out. The closing date has been extended till on Sunday, 14th September, 2025.. The Cut-off mark is 160 and above in some courses. The form Cost N2,000.

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admissions into Bayero University, Kano in the 2025/2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted by Joint Admission and Matriculation. Board (UTME) that there will be an Online Screening from Monday, 4th August, 2025 to Sunday, 14th September, 2025

LATEST UPDATE: Extension of Post-UTME Online Screening

This is to inform the general public especially prospective students the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) that the management has approved the extension of the period for the 2025 Post-UTME online screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. The registration portal will now close on Sunday, 14th September, 2025.

All prospective candidates are strongly advised to take advantage of this extension to complete their screening before the new deadline as there will be no further extension. Thank you!

Candidates Eligible to Apply for BUK Post UTME Form

• Candidates who chose BUK and scored at least 160 in JAMB are eligible to apply. However, there are courses whose cut-ff mark are 190, 200,220 and 240.
• Candidates awaiting O’level Result can apply.

JAMB O’level Requirements

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has indicated that it would not clear any shortlisted candidate who does not have ‘O’ Level results. All candidate therefore, are advised to visit any JAMB Office or Accredited CBT Centre nearest to them to upload their ‘O’ Level results (WAEC, NECO e.t.c.) on the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

When will BUK Screening Exam Start?

Note that the Date, Venue and Time of the BUK Aptitude Test will be communicated to you using the phone number and/or e-mail address (issued  in JAMB registration) you supplied in the form you filled-in.

Note that blind and foreign candidates are exempted from the aptitude test. However, they need to do the online registration.

How to Apply for BUK Post UTME Form.

• Step 1: Login-   At the homepage of the Bayero University website https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/bukat2025/bukat_login.php click on 2025 UTME ONLINE SCREENING EXERCISE
• Step 2: Profile Update      –           UTME candidates can login using UTME Registration Number as username and UTME aggregate score as password. You should then fill-in the provided form noting that the photograph uploaded from JAMB will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in Bayero University, Kano.. 
• Step 3: Generation of BUK PPI    –             Generate and download your Personalised Payment Invoice (PPI). The invoice will come with Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for the sum of N2,000.00 being cost of screening. Applicants have an option of paying online using Credit/Debit Card, Internet Banking, or printing the invoice and using it to pay at any Commercial Bank nationwide. Note that after successful online payment, acknowledgement slip can instantly be generated and printed. In case of bank payment, the payment has to be processed by the candidate using the provided “check your payment” button on the site, before acknowledgement card can be printed..

ANY CANDIDATE WHO FAILS TO REGISTER FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE WITHIN THE STIPULATED DATE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

CLOSING DATE:  

The online registration will commence on Monday, 4th August, 2025 to Sunday, 14th September, 2025. However, printing of acknowledgement slip will continue up to later.

NOTE: JAMB O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT:

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has indicated that it would not clear any shortlisted candidate who does not have ‘O Level results.

All candidates, therefore, are advised to visit any JAMB Office or accredited CBT centre nearest to them to upload their O level results (WAEC, NECO, etc.).

Even candidates who do not satisfy the University screening conditions below are advised to provide the details for consideration by other institutions. (Note that supplying false information will result in disqualification).

You are allowed to supply a maximum of two different O’ Level examination results.
