The information below is for the last academic session. We will update it when this year’s own comes out.

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) Admission list now Available on JAMB CAPS, 2024/2025. This is to inform all candidates who participated in the 2024/2025 Post-UTME of the University that they can proceed to check if their names are on the Provisional Admission list of successful candidates.

Candidates can now proceed to check their admission status via the procedures below.

How to Check Name on COOU / ANSU Admission List.

As of the time of this publication, the Admission List is only available on the JAMB Admission Portal and JAMB CAPS Portal.

Check Admission Status On JAMB Portal

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below:

1. Go https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
2. Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
3. Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
4. Then click on Admission Status,
5. You should then click on check admission status or
6. Click on Access my CAPS.
7. Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
8. Then click on admission status
9. You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.
10. Case 1: If you see CONGRATULATIONS…, accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.
11. Case 2: If you see admission in progress, then be patient, the status will change in few days/weeks. Just check back after some time.
12. Case 3: Not Admitted, if in such case, please don’t give up yet! You might still gain admission. Just be hopeful!

If you were admitted, congratulations on your admission into COOU (formerly called ANSU).

Check Admission via School Portal.

Soon the admission list would be available on the school portal, when that happens Candidates should follow the procedure below to check their admission status on the COOU Admission portal.

• Kindly log on to ANSU admission portal via https://portal.coou.edu.ng/prospective_students#success
• Login to the portal using your JAMB registration number
• If admission is offered, candidate is expected to accept the offer, and pay his/her acceptance fees within two weeks.

PLEASE NOTE: COOU Acceptance fee is Twenty Six thousand naira, Three hundred and Fifteen Naira (N26,315).
