The University of Cross River (UNICROSS) formerly Cross River University of Technology, CRUTECH Matriculation Ceremony Date for 2025/2026 Session has been announced.


The management of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), hereby wishes to inform all Staff, Students and the General Public that the 24th Matriculation Ceremony of the University of Cross River State for 2025/2026 academic session, which was postponed indefinitely, due to the strike action embarked upon by the Joint Action Congress JAC of the three non-teaching labour unions of the University, has now been rescheduled to hold as follows:
- Calabar Campus: Monday, March 16 2026
- Ogoja & Okuku Campuses: Tuesday March 17 2026
All concerned should take note of the following requirements for participating in the event:
Mandatory Payment of Fees:
- All newly admitted Students are required to pay their School Fees and the fee for Matriculation in full before the Matriculation Ceremony.
2. Matriculation Register:
- The students who fail to meet the above requirements will not be included in the Matriculation Register. Consequently, they will not participate in the Matriculation Ceremony and will forfeit his/her admission for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
3. Deadline for Payment:
- The University will not entertain any requests for payment of school fees after the Matriculation Ceremony.
4. Students who have paid their fees in full must:
- i. Proceed to their Departments and Faculties to complete their registration and Documentation
- ii. Collect their Matriculation Gowns from the Faculty Officers upon presenting evidence of full payment of fees.
5. Return of Gowns:
- Matriculation Gowns must be returned not later than two (2) days after the Ceremony to the Faculty Officers. Gowns returned later than one (1) week after the Ceremony will attract a late-return fee of N2,000.00/day
6. All Matriculating Students are expected to display utmost decorum during the Ceremony. Acts of misconduct will not be tolerated and will attract disciplinary measures.

All newly students of the University should endeavour to pay their school fees before the date of the Matriculation. Students who failed to pay their school fees as directed will forfeit ther admission into the university and will not be eligible for the Matriculation
