Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, has sponsored 70 students to study Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics Technology abroad, in a bid to promote academic excellence and boost technological advancement.
A statement by his Special Media Adviser, Alhaji Ismaila Mudasir, revealed that the Barau I Jibrin Foundation (BIJF) facilitated admissions for these students in fields including AI, Robotics Technology, Cybersecurity, and Forensic Science.
Senator Jibrin highlighted that this initiative is part of his commitment to fostering academic excellence and advancing Nigeria’s technological progress.
“My foundation is committed to providing opportunities for deserving students to acquire cutting-edge skills and knowledge,” he said.
The scholarship program aims to strengthen Nigeria’s capabilities in AI, Robotics, and related areas, thereby supporting the nation’s socio-economic development.
