An EKSU graduate who was once ashamed of her 3.3 CGPA in 100 level inspired many online after working hard and eventually graduating with an impressive 4.30 CGPA in Science Laboratory Technology.

A graduate of Ekiti State University has inspired many people online after sharing how she transformed her academic performance from a disappointing first-year result to graduating with an impressive 4.30 CGPA.

The young lady, Oluwemida Hannah Gift, revealed that she began her university journey with a 3.3 CGPA in her 100 level, a result that left her feeling discouraged and ashamed. She admitted that she could not bring herself to share the grade with anyone because she felt unhappy about her performance at the time.

Determined to improve, she decided to become more serious with her academics by attending tutorials, studying late at night, and spending long hours reading in lecture halls. According to her, the experience pushed her to work harder than ever before.

She explained in her TikTok post that there were many sleepless nights, moments of doubt, and periods of exhaustion during her time in school. Despite the difficulties, she remained focused and continued putting effort into her studies with the hope of achieving better results.

Her dedication eventually paid off as she graduated with a 4.30 CGPA in Science Laboratory Technology, specialising in Biotechnology and Biological Science. Proudly celebrating the achievement, she described the degree as a reflection of her sacrifices, determination, prayers, consistency, and hard work throughout her university education.

The graduate also encouraged students not to lose hope because success is possible even after a poor start. She stated that her journey proved that persistence and self-belief can help people overcome academic struggles and achieve their goals.

Her story quickly gained attention on social media, with many Nigerians praising her resilience, determination, and inspiring improvement from her first year to graduation.
