Nigerian lawyer Iyinoluwa Ajayi, a top first-class graduate, earned admission to Oxford, Cambridge, and LSE, and won the prestigious Chevening Scholarship to study Law and Finance at Oxford.


Iyinoluwa Ajayi, an outstanding Nigerian legal scholar, has achieved a remarkable academic milestone by securing admission offers from three of the United Kingdom’s most prestigious universities—Oxford, Cambridge, and the London School of Economics and Political Science—alongside receiving the highly competitive Chevening Scholarship.
A first-class Law graduate from the University of Ibadan and one of the top-performing students at the Nigerian Law School, where she again earned first-class honors and ranked fourth nationwide, Iyinoluwa’s academic journey has been defined by excellence, determination, and resilience.
After being called to the Nigerian Bar as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court, Iyinoluwa shared the exciting news of her achievements on LinkedIn, highlighting her journey to receiving these elite opportunities for postgraduate study in the UK.
Among her options, Iyinoluwa has chosen to pursue a Master’s in Law and Finance at the University of Oxford—her dream institution—under the fully funded Chevening Scholarship, awarded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
Her academic and professional goals are closely tied to her passion for corporate law and finance, and she aims to become a transformative figure at the intersection of these fields.
