A video of secondary school students singing and dancing to hit song, ‘Rush’ on assembly ground has gone viral online.
In the viral video, the incident took place during the school’s morning assembly. It was later discovered that the school where the spontaneous party occurred is Itohan Girls Grammar School, somewhere in Edo state.
The hit song, Rush, was released as Nigerian superstar, Ayra Starr’s debut single on 16th September, 2022. It charted worldwide in 2023 after going viral on TikTok.
The clip showed the students singing in loud voices, like they had rehearsed before the assembly time, as they sang it word for word. No one could stop them as it appeared their teachers were also enjoying the entire show. The number of students on the assembly ground is not yet known, but it appears that the entire school gathered there.
