Federal College Of Education FCE Zaria, Notice On Working Hours During The Ramadan Period


This is to inform the University Community that consequent upon the sighting of the new crescent of the Islamic Lunar Month of Ramadan on Tuesday 17th February, 2026, the Management of the University has rescheduled the working hours with effect from Wednesday, 18th February, 2026 as follows
Mondays to Thursdays: 9:00am to 2:00pm
Fridays: 9:00am to 1:00pm
However, normal working hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm would resume at the completion of the Ramadan Fasting.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, wishes the Muslim Ummah an acceptable and rewarding worship and prayer session.
He urged the worshippers to maintain the lessons learnt during the period and to pray for the unity, peace and tranquility in the nation.
