The Federal Polytechnic Ede Alumni Association paid the tuition fees for 46 outstanding students to support academic excellence, as announced during the inauguration of the institution’s 7th Governing Council.


The Federal Polytechnic Ede Alumni Association has generously paid the tuition fees for 46 outstanding students at the institution, demonstrating its commitment to academic excellence.
This initiative was highlighted during the inauguration of the 7th Governing Council of the Polytechnic on August 19, 2024.
The total scholarship amount of N2,077,225 was allocated, with each science student receiving ₦44,715.50 and each non-science student receiving ₦41,504.50.
The cheque presentation was led by Professor Taiwo Olaiya, Chairman of the Governing Council, and witnessed by the Rector, Engr. Dr. Sani Man Yahaya, along with other officials.
Mrs. Adedoyin Balogun, President of the Alumni Association, expressed gratitude to the institution’s leadership and reaffirmed the Association’s dedication to supporting students in their academic pursuits.
This was detailed in a statement issued by the association’s national publicity secretary, Comr. Olatunji Olorunfemi Awokoworldwide, on August 22.
