Medicine & Surgery in Federal University Dutse has now been approved by National Universities Commission (NUC)

This is to inform the genral public especially prospective students of Federal University Dutsse that the University has received NUC approval to run five more programmes. The programmes were in College of Medicine & Health Sciences.
The new FUD programmes includes;
- Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Medicine, (MBBS);
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Biology);
- Bachelor of Science, (B.Sc. Human Anatomy);
- Bachelor of Science, (B.Sc. Human Physiology) and;
- Bachelor of Science, (B.Sc. Biochemistry).
The University’s Registrar, Usman Bukar; in a statement said the programmes takes effect from 2017/2018 Academic Session. He also explained that the approval did not cover part-time programmes as all programmes must bear only the approved titles and nomenclatures, adding any change would require the re-approval of the Commission.
Usman also listed some courses that still secured fully accreditation in FUD. The courses includes;
- English,
- Biology,
- Physics,
- Political Science,
- Zoology,
- Botany and;
- Chemistry
However, Computer Science lost accreditation in Federal University Dutse FUD.
