The management of the Federal University Dutse (FUD) has alerted the public to a fake Facebook post that is falsely claiming the release of the university’s 2025/2026 admission list.

In an official statement, the university clarified that the 2025/2026 admission process is still ongoing and that the first batch of admissions has not yet been released.

Applicants, parents, and guardians have been advised to beware of admission scammers and rely only on the university’s official communication channels and verified social media handles for accurate updates.

The statement was signed by Abdullahi Yahaya Bello, Ag. Director of Public Affairs, on behalf of the management.

The attention of the management of Federal University Dutse has been drawn to a fake webpage with the name University Headquarters who cloned University’s address and Private Mail Bag to scam unsuspecting admission seekers to part with their hard earned monies.

The general public should note the following:

• The admission process at FUD has not started. We just advertised our cut-off mark last week and we are yet to announce a date for Post-UTME Screening.
• The University has an established channel of communication through its verified official website and official social media handles. Prospective applicants should only rely on these sources for information.
• Applicants should ignore these fake phone numbers displayed on this fake website.
• Admission at the Federal University Dutse is strictly based on JAMB Admission criteria. WE DON’T COLLECT MONEY FOR ADMISSION. BEWARE!
• Parents, guardians and applicants should take note of fake webpages and avoid being a victim of Admission Scammers.
