The Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) in Ekiti State, Nigeria, has taken strict disciplinary measures against students involved in examination malpractice. Based on recommendations from the Students’ Disciplinary Committee (SDC), the university has expelled five students and suspended 152 others.
The expelled students are:
- Okeredima Delight Ozioma (Social Sciences/Sociology)
- Akanmu Yusuf Adeyinka (Civil Engineering)
- Lateef Jimoh (Social Sciences/Economics)
- Adams Tijani (Science/Mathematics)
These expulsions are effective immediately. The 152 suspended students face penalties ranging from one to two semesters, depending on the severity of their offenses.
FUOYE’s management has emphasized its commitment to maintaining high standards of discipline and academic integrity.
