Federal University of Technology Akure FUTA Warns Public Against Scammers Posing as Admission Agents – Merit is the Only Criterion.

The attention of the Federal University of Technology Akure FUTA has been drawn to the activities of fraudsters and some unscrupulous individuals who are out to scam members of the public under the guise of offering admission purportedly by FUTA for the 2026/2027academic session.

For the Avoidance of DOUBT admission into FUTA like other similar institutions is done under the aegis of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board ,JAMB and
it is a process painstakingly monitored and immune from internal and external manipulation.

At this point it is only registration of intending candidates who wish to be considered for admission that is going on and no admission has been offered to any candidate as the process is yet to get to that stage.

This is therefore a notice to all intending candidates, their parents and sponsors and members of the general public to be wary of the activities of scammers and some persons with ignoble agenda peddling falsehood relating to the admission process and even offering bogus admission to unsuspecting candidates in exchange for money and other pecuniary gains.

Candidates , Parents and Guardians and the general public are strongly advised not to pay any money to any individual or group of individuals for the purpose of checking results , uploading results or influencing the process in anyway whatsoever.
Admission is strictly merit driven and cannot be influenced in any way or form.
