Gombe State University, GOMSU Admission into Certificate Programmes for 2020/2021 Session is now on sale. Form cost N2,000.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the under listed programmes for 2020/2021 academic session.

• Certificate in Computer Networking:
• Certificate in Beauty Design:
• Certificate in Knitting:
• Certificate in Leather Works;
• Certificate in Horticulture:
• Certificate in Waste Recycling and Management,
• Certificate in Hair Dressing Saloon:
• Certificate in Fish Farming and Production Technology
• Certificate in Animal Husbandry
• Certificate in Poultry Production
• Certificate in Cosmetology:

The Certificate courses are Two to Three Months intensive programmes that are designed to produce well skilled man power with sound practical knowledge that can effectively perform a range of various functions in both private and public sectors. In addition, it will also prepare the candidate for entrepreneurship.

b) Operational set up of the Programmes.

Lectures/Contacts and practical exercises shall be conducted on Fridays (evening) and Saturdays

(throughout the day) every week throughout the period of the programme, unless when needs arise.

c) Admission Requirements

Candidates for admission into the various Computer Certificate programmes must possess at least Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalents. Candidate apply for Advance Certificate in Computer Operation or Certificate Computer Networking, must posses; Beginner Certificate in Computer Operation or its equivalent, plus Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, or Equivalent) and there is a Screening Interview. Any interested candidate can apply for each of all the remaining skill certificates without possessing Primary or Secondary Certificates.

How to Apply for GSU Certificate Programme

Sale of admission forms commences on Monday 18th January, 2021. Application fees of N2,000 (Non refundable; payable to the University Bank Account as follows:

I. Candidates must pay the application fee into:

• Bank:United Bank for Africa (UBA)
• Account Name: GSU Consultancy Services
• Account Number: 1010305534

ii. Upon payment of the application fee, candidate should then take the teller to the Bursary Unit of the University and obtain an official receipt of the payment.

III. Candidate should immediately proceed to office of the Director, Directorate of Human Resources Development, GombeState University and collect the form.

iv. All completed forms should be submitted to the Office of the Director.

v. All Covid-19 Protocols will be observed
