Gombe State University,GSU Bans Students and Visitors Entrance Through Diploma Gate

The management of Gombe State University has prohibited students and visitors from using the Directorate of Human Resource gate (Diploma gate) for entry, restricting access to only the first and second gates of the university.
The directive, signed by Dr. Hassana Bello, the Dean of the Students Affairs Division on November 28, cites security challenges as the reason for this decision.
According to the internal memo circulated within the university community, “students and visitors are advised to adhere strictly to this directive.”
Notably, students residing in the male hostel have been utilizing the gate for convenient access to and from the campus. Additionally, visitors engaging in sports activities at the football arena will also be impacted by this restriction.
