How to Accurately Calculate AFIT Aggregate Score

Are you wondering how to calculate the Airforce Institute of Technology, AFIT aggregate score? Then this page is for you.

How to Calculate AFIT Aggregate Score

On this page, we will show you the detailed procedure you should follow to calculate your AFIT aggregate score.

This is the latest procedure.

How to Calculate AFIT Aggregate Score

To calculate your aggregate score, follow the procedure below:

  • Step A: Divide your JAMB UTME Score by 8
  • Step B: Divide your POST UTME score by 2
  • Finally, sum what you got in step A and Step B together.

For instance: If you scored 230 in UTME and went on to score 60 in POST UTME, your aggregate score will be calculated thus:

  • UTME Score = 230/8 = 28.75
  • Post UTME Score = 60/2 =30
  • Aggregate Score = 28.75 + 30 = 58.75%

NOTE:

In the 2021/2022 academic session, AFIT’s aggregate cut-off mark was 42.5. This implies that only candidates who scored above 42.5 will be considered for admission.

Also, note that AFIT doesn’t have a departmental cut-off mark – the higher your total aggregate, the greater to chances of securing admission.

For instance: Say Janet and Abdullahi are applying for Mechanical Engineering Dept.

If Janet’s total aggregate score is 60% and Abdullahi’s total aggregate is 45%, Janet will be the first to be considered for admission.
