About IMT Part-time Programme

IMT is a home for skills and service acquisition. This is not in doubt because evidence of the products abounds in all parts of the federation, which cut across the length and breadth of human endeavour.

In continuation of this good work, the institute became inundated with requests to establish other programmes that are not regular in nature as the full-time programme.

In other to enhance the spirit of learning and cater for more quest for education in Nigeria, the institute established the Part-time Studies department.

The Part-time Studies department is focused towards accommodating people who cannot attend the full regular programme due to unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.

The Part-time Studies department took off over 30 years ago with a view of reducing the rate of illiteracy within the nation beginning with the South-East region.

Admission Requirement for IMT part-Time Programmes

Any person who deserves to run through Part-time Studies programme must have attended a secondary school and have obtained a West African Examination Certificate or Senior Secondary School Certificate, in five subjects relevant to the course of study or WAEC equivalent, as approved by NBTE and JAMB.

JAMB is not a strict requirement for admissions.

Duration for IMT part-Time Courses

Any person who desires to obtain a National Diploma will study for three years (six semesters). After the successful completion of the National Diploma, such student can apply for HND by purchasing the form provided. He/She must have obtained the minimum CGPA for admission into HND. The HND programmes also lasts for three years as well.

IMT Certificate Course

IMT Enugu, in collaboration with annunciation specialist Hospital, Enugu invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for 12-month intensive certificate course in Hospital Equipment Maintenance and Repairs.

This course is for School Certificate holders with bias in science subjects.

The hospital will invite shortlisted candidates to screening examination later.

How Much is IMT Certificate Course Form? The application form costs two thousand Naira (#2000.00) only and can be obtained from Annunciation specialist hospital, Enugu.

How to Apply for IMT Part-Time Admission.

How Much is IMT Part-Time Evening and Weekend Form? Each application form costs Five thousand Naira (#5000.00) only.

Applicants should commence registration immediately using the following procedure:

1. Visit www.imt.edu.ng and click on ONLINE PORTAL. Then click on APPLY at top-right hand corner of the website.
2. Fill the application form.
3. Cross-check the data supplied on the summary page of the form to ensure accuracy before submission.
4. Select INTERSWITCH as the payment option and generate an INVOICE which contains a REMITA number.
5. Then, PRINT your invoice. This print-  out will enable you to make payment at the Bank.
6. Proceed to ANY BANK and pay the application fee of two thousand Naira (N2000.00) only through INTERSWITCH platform under ENUGU STATE IGR payment.
7. Every candidate must provide a valid Email and phone number.
8. After payment, return to the portal www.imt.edu.ng and print the  application form.
