Two staff members of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have been dismissed by the board for gross misconduct.


Announcing the sack in a statement issued on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the Head, Public Affairs and Protocol of the board, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, accused the dismissed staff of document forgery.
He gave the names of the dismissed staff as Bilyaminu Ishaku and Andrew Anebi Candidus, from its Makurdi, Benue State office. The statement further stated that the dismissal took effect on 27th February 2023.
The staff were directed to submit their identity cards and all other property of the Board in their possession to the State Coordinator, JAMB Office, Benue State, for onward submission to the Director, Human Resources, with immediate effect.
