Very Important! If you didn’t meet the JAMB Subject Combination and Direct Entry and O’level requirement for any of the course above; note their are chances that your school (University) have a special consideration (WAIVER) for you.
In JAMB, what is the meaning of Special Consideration (Waiver)??
It means, additional requirement for a particular course in a particular school. If your school have a special consideration for candidates and you didn’t meet the requirement, then you will be denied admission for wrong requirement. But if you meet the requirement in the Special consideration column, you will not be denied admission.
Note sometimes in special consideration column, the school requirement might be slight different from the general requirement. We advice you know your desired school’s special consideration for your course. See below;

JAMB SUBJECT COMBINATION FOR MATHEMATICAL SCIENCE.
English Language(*), Mathematics, Physics and any other Science subject.
Note: Some universities might have a requirement that is slightly different from the subject combination above.
O’LEVEL REQUIREMENT FOR MATHEMATICAL SCIENCE.
Below is the O’level Requirement for Mathematical Science (UTME CANDIDATES)
Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION(WAIVER)
- (i) PAAU requires English Language, Mathematic, Physics and any other two (2) subjects preferably Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science and Economics or Geography.
DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR MATHEMATICAL SCIENCE.
- Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and Physics.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS FOR MATHEMATICAL SCIENCE.
Most Universities have special consideration for their UTME and Direct entry (DE) candidates. To know if your aspired school have a special consideration for you, then CHECKOUT all Universities that offers Mathematical Science.
